A Massachusetts man was sentenced to seven years in prison after spending the better part of the past year tormenting his ex-girlfriend online, according to a WLJA report.

Boston native Bruce Stimon, 47, met Arlington, Va., resident Soraida Hicks on an airplane in 2011 and they began dating long distance shortly thereafter. Stimon showed Hicks with gifts during that time, including a new iPhone, which he put on his own family plan—a move that would allow him to access information belonging to her friends and contacts.

Then he used that contact information to tell Hicks friends that shed contracted an STD.


Hicks broke up with Stimon shortly after finding out about his antics, but the tormenting continued. Before long, Hicks started receiving phone calls from adult men in northern Virginia who were looking for an escort. She looked online and found that her name and face had started to show up on escort sites around the Web.
Whats more, Stimon had filled out some of her profiles with the phone numbers of her employer and direct supervisor. She was fired from her bank job just a few days before her daughters Twitter followers were made privy to a video of Hicks and Stimon having sex.

"It was devastating," Hicks daughter told WJLA. "I would go into the bathroom stall and just cry and would come back to class and act like everything was okay."

But it wasnt okay, and the abuse didnt stop. Stimon turned to porn sites to advertise Hicks and her daughter as a "mother and daughter" sex package. Eager readers started showing up at their doorstep a few days later.

Stimons scheming went on for months before police could catch him. It took his venturing from Boston down to the Hicks Arlington neighborhood in an effort to slash his ex-girlfriend’s tires to get the man arrested.

Hicks, whos been active in her efforts to get her name removed from the porn sites, reports that shes only had limited success.

The Power Of Knowing About Your Past Life

* When you saw or learned about a particular culture or arts, you already had a deep connection or attraction to that thing. How to ruin an ex girlfriend life

Dear Dr Victoria… I split from my ex-husband around three years ago. We’ve both moved on but have remained great friends. At the moment I don’t have a boyfriend, but his new girlfriend has a real problem with our platonic relationship. She’s an absolute bitch.

My ex and I share lots of mutual friends and mix in the same social circle. We regularly chat on the phone, and meet up for drinks. She tells my ex that she likes me, but I know if this is a lie. She spreads rumours about me and puts me down in front of our friends. She even told a guy I was dating I had herpies. This isn’t true.

I really value my exes friendship and I love him dearly but not in a sexual way. I’m now at the end of my tether and am seriously considering ending our friendship. Should I walk away or stand my ground?


Dr Victoria says…This is a difficult situation, but I’m sure your ex-husband and your mutual friends have brains of their own and can come to their own conclusions about what’s going on here.  His new girlfriend is obviously insecure about the friendship you have with her boyfriend.

You could talk to her and reassure her that you’re just friends, but really I doubt it will change anything.  It could make her even worse as then her insecurities are being directly confronted and at present her unreasonable behaviour is protecting her from admitting to these insecurities.

I do think that you or your ex-husband should confront her over individual incidents.  If someone says you have a sexually transmitted disease when you don’t, you’ve got every reason to be angry and why shouldn’t you bring this up with her and ask her why she said it?  This is the only mature adult thing to do.

However, there’s no reason to store up all these incidents silently, allowing the resentment to build up until you end up criticising her for everything she’s ever done.  Deal with each incident as it comes up and keep a level head.

There’s no need to bad mouth her to anyone who will listen.  You want to appear as the calm, reasonable and rational person here.  If you friends are aware of the simple facts then they will come to their own conclusions.

Your ex-husband will also come to his own conclusions.  If she continues to behave in this way, especially spreading lies about you, I doubt she’ll be his girlfriend for much longer.

There’s no need to end your friendship with him either.  This is way too drastic and unnecessary.  Why cut off your nose to spite your face?  If things are getting tricky and causing you too much stress then you can always cool things down for a while and see him less often, but this is down to you.  If you end the friendship completely then there will be knock-on consequences for the whole social group.  If things truly are platonic now and you don’t have a hidden agenda, why shouldn’t you remain friends if you share the same social circle?

Why You Should Consider Running Daily

Im a huge advocate of running. I know that it takes some effort and energy to make it happen, and Im usually the first person to prefer just being lazy and relaxing in bed with a book or watching TV.

Even though its a nuisance sometimes, the one that that Ive realized is that Im always glad that I ran once the run is over. I think this says a lot.

Ill always feel better after the fact, which leads me to believe that its just a mental block that prevents us from doing it more often. Still, its something that we should definitely push ourselves to do as hard as we possibly can.

The benefits of running are both physical and psychological. Obviously, it keeps us all in good health. It gives us energy and burns fat, but its also a great emotional catalyst. If you run, youll have hormones produced that raise your spirits naturally.

I think that running is also good for the brain. Im always getting more accomplished at my job after a run, and I have an easier time falling asleep.

All of these obvious benefits make it well worth giving yourself the push to go running. Do whatever it takes to put yourself on a regular schedule and youll see the benefits pretty quickly.

If you need some help motivating, do some things that may make it all easier. Run indoors with a television that you can watch. Listen to some music that will pump you up. You can even read while you run if you feel that it might help.

Its also important to set personal goals as you run. While some people are perfectly content with maintaining the same speed, Ive always found that I get the maximum benefit whenever Im striving to achieve new fastest times. - 30535

How to talk to your ex girlfriend

Everything started for me in this very forum. I cannot appreciate all the good literature I came into contact here, especially from Savoy, Braddock ... the Beatrice post ... the Ex-girlfriend post ... "how to recuperate after fighting with a girlfriend post" etc

Everything started for me here and thats why I love it here. And Im so proud and thankful that I did very well with my ex-girlfriends.

I didnt get laid. If you are judging everything through if Im getting laid or not, I must be a failure. But Im really happy because I handled myself with confidence and poise.

Theres two ex-girlfriends on my college campus. I hadnt talked to them for over 8,9 months because I was away from college on an exchange program to Japan. So when I came back to campus, I was a little nervous. Yes, I had learned a lot of new stuff about attraction but wouldnt I change back into that needy, stupid little AFC that I was when I was with them??

WRONG FUCK THAT SHIT WOOHOO

Ex#1 is a HB8.0. I came across her one weekend at a club on campus. I was having a blast at the club like I always do and caught her kinda looking bored and with a couple friends standing around the dance floor. I approached her with energy and excitement.

Me: Hey!! HB!! Long time no see right!?
Ex#1: (smiles) ohh hey!!! yeah long time no see!
Me: I didnt expect to see you here. You look good!
Ex#1: haha thanks! you too!
Me: oh you know me! I always look good! Lets dance! (grab her hand)
Ex#1: ohh ok!! (giggles)

I tear apart on dance floor with energy so I was just making her laugh the whole time and she started grinding on me. I was like "shit where did you learn that!" haha .. the thing is, when we broke up, i was really immature and needy so I didnt expect to talk to her ever again because she was pretty disgusted and disappointed in me. But not seeing each other for almost a year and me coming in with NO AWKWARDNESS and just energy and confidence is what changed our interaction. I told her later "hey lets get dinner together later!" and she was like "sure!" and we met up for dinner a couple weeks later.

She was kinda being a bratty little bitch at the dinner. I mean, my humor is great so I made her laugh a few times but she wasnt being very good company. HAHA what was the most fun was when she said "You developed a different persona since you came back from your study-abroad in Japan and Im not the only one who thinks that!!" I was like HAHAHAHA and then she was like "yeah you are all big-headed now ... like a tool! or a .. a douchebag!!" HAHAHAHAHAHAHAA AWESOME

Whatever. I made fun of her, pushed her around a little bit, made jokes about her still being a virgin. She was like "I mean, yeah, but I feel bad for girls who have sex all the time. Im saving it up for somebody special and ... and If I were a guy, I wouldnt like a girl whos fucked 3,4 guys before her anyways! Im so much better than them" I was like "HAHA WTF? I dont fucking care about that. Who cares? A girls sexual experience has nothing to do with me. If she is cool, fits with my personality and good at sex, what more can I ask??" she started getting pissed after that so I just kept making fun of her more and I just had a blast. She was pissy at first but started laughing later in the night. We said goodbye and I dont expect to see her around that much. I realized how much I had grown from the last time I was with her, how nervous I was when talking to her during dinner ... hahaha ... the funny thing is, while I was walking home with her, I realized how not-that-attractive-than-I-used-to-think-so she was. She looked shorter, less pretty than I used to imagine her. Huh, funny that. Eh, I can do better.

Ex #2. She was my beatrice. Physically she is only a 7 but she understands my humor better than anybody.

When you meet your ex-girlfriend for the 1st time in a long time, you have a choice. You can either make it extra-awkward by being shy, self-conscious or needy and desperate or something along those lines. WTF? Why? I would rather make her miss me by making her think about how happy and cool and funny i was when I was with her! Thats what I did.

We had such a great dinner together. Whenever I say something funny, it hits with her all the time. We just started joking around as soon as we met at night and at the end, we were shoving each other, hitting each other, laughing, singing ...

The point is not to try-hard but just be yourself and free and funny. Why would this be hard? you did it with her when you were having a relationship together right?

I told her at the end of the night "looks like you are happy with a new boyfriend and Im happy for you. I dont plan to show up often in your life. But I dont like burning bridges. If you ever want to talk to me again, let me know" she smiled and said "you too ... I had a good time. I will call you"

Past Regression A Life Enhancing Process!

Include information on your fears, your favorite food, animals that you feel drawn to, etc. It is important to be thorough as there is no such thing as useless information in this regard. Discuss your particular talents if you possess any and describe what they are. In short, tell your journal everything about yourself, about your personality and whether you experience things such as deja vu. Write it all down.

Your dreams also give clues in your past life. But keep in mind your dreams contain things from your present life as well but write it down anyway.

This involves a visit to a professional past life regression therapist. They are trained to guide you through the regression and then with your help interpret what information that came through. This technique involves the professional doing hypnosis. Sometimes this can be done by self-hypnosis.

Keep a positive state of mind and do not allow yourself to be distracted by any thoughts about your daily life. Although it might happen until you gain more experience with meditation. Instead of being completely side tracked try to make a note of it and then put it out of your mind. One thing that you need to remember is that meditation takes practice so do not give up when nothing seems to happen in the beginning. It is when we achieve a proper meditative state that questions will arise, just be prepared to find the answers when you are not expecting to.

Among other things this method can also assist you with regards to issues you are faced with in your present life, including relationship issues. You might, like others have, discover that you have shared lives with people in past lives that you know in your present life. A bit of research will confirm, or not, the information you received.

I passionately believe this kind of thinking often leads to low morale and a low level of motivation. So let me state again getting up and going to work is not the purpose, it is simply a reason.

Why do you do what you do? What is your true purpose? I define purpose very simply- it is the reason you are on the big blue ball called earth.

So how the heck do you find your purpose anyway? Its actually easy as pie. 1) Go to a temple somewhere in the world 2) Enter the temple 3) Ask for the wise man in the robes 4) Ask " So what is my purpose master?" 5) Wait for it 6) Leave this place right away and apply it . O.K. I am just joking- its not that easy. There are a lot of twists and turns on your journey to finding your purpose. Now the bad news- its going to require some work and effort and study. After all you are trying to determine your lifes work. There are people that discover it by stumbling over it. I find that most folks though just have to work at it. Let me give you some techniques for fiinding it:

One sheet exercise- Take out a blank piece of paper. On that piece of paper, write down a list of all the things you are really good at and have been good at all your life. (This is not the time to be modest) You either know or have been told what you are good at all of your life. Once you have filled the page with talents or gifts, take a look at the page. Does anything stand out to you? Any common things? Lets say your list is filled with things like writing, art, brainstorming, or painting. Maybe the central theme around the page is creativity and your purpose is to create as your contribution to the world.

Get Real Carve out some free time and go away to a quiet place. Take a pen and pad, and get ready to write. Take the time to ask your self the following questions: 1) Someday when I am old and gray, what do I want to have accomplished? Why are those things important? What contribution would they have made? 2) What are two or three things that you will regret if you do not do them in your lifetime? What do you think would stand in your way if you dont get them done? Why? 3) Why were you born? Do you think you have specific gifts or talents you were meant to use? Why? Are you using them? If not why not? 4) Fill in the blank; I was meant to ______________________. Why do you think that? 5) What is very important to you? Why? After you have gone through these series of questions some patterns might emerge and you may be closer to uncovering your true purpose.

Ten With No Spin Now you are going to go to your panel of 10 advisors. Your objective is to do a little Q...A with each of them. This exercise also takes a little confidence. Ask each person "what do you think my strengths are? Ask Uncle Benny, your Mom, and close buddy. Ask your personal trainer and a co worker. I am sure your curiosity is wondering "Why?. Well it is actually interesting what other people may see in you that you dont. They may provide a whole new perspective. Now as the answers come in you have to sort and edit and decide which to listen to and which not. One caveat- dont have negative people do the survey. Most spouses also work so they have their own lives to live. How about girlfriend/boyfriend? People change these like they change their socks. As far as best friends go we all move a lot and lose track of each other.

The answer is none of the above. The one person that makes you happy is you! Although you may get some good feelings from a car, home, spouse,etc. they are always temporary. Being happy is a decision we make everyday. When you get up in the morning look in the mirror and say "I will be happy all day today. I know problems will come up and I will handle them. My happiness has nothing to do with challenges. My being happy is constant and nothing is going to interfere with me being happy."

The first thing to do is to take complete responsibility for what happens in your life. This is the best way to eliminate the blame game. It is self deprecating and does not help. Today take responsibility to be happy.

While all this is great, you have to find a place that will allow you to meditate properly. Having three kids in the family room, the phone ringing, and you trying to meditate just wont work.

So get yourself in a positive frame of mind before you even begin. Look for a comfortable place to start your meditation and allow yourself to relax the muscles and quiet the mind. You will notice that there will be times when certain thoughts creep in that are somewhat negative. When this happens you just have to let them go. Its going to take some practice, but in the end youll be able to form a positive meditation whenever you want throughout the day.

If you truly believe in reincarnation, the images you get will eventually help resolve something in your life. Just keep in mind that you cant always tell if something is from a past life or your present one. The only thing you do know is that if you log enough information, youre bound to find something that works into your past life scenario.

You may even come to the conclusion that your brother, mother, or father today, was once a part of your life many years ago. However, they may not have been of any relation, or could have been even closer then you are today.
