Creating New Habits

0 komentar
By Ellen Valentine, CNC

We are learning from information on Brain Sciences and Quantum Physics that all we are is pure potential. And although the possibility of all potential is a gift weve been given, we often twist the possibilities against ourselves. According to our energetic impulses, our thought waves, we also tap into the Pure Potential of the Universal Mind from which all things spring. The outcome of all of this will be either pleasurable or not depending on the grade of thought and its emotional strength; and all of this set in motion by the Universal Laws of Attraction and Connectivity of all things.

When we experience emotion, part of our body mind, the hypothalamus matches the emotional state and sends out peptides through the pituitary gland which seek to connect or link to docking points on cells in our body. Similar thinking day after day which has the same feelings or emotions attached to it will find more than enough locking docks on cells to support that thinking. And whether those emotional responses net you good results or less than desirable results makes no difference. Frankly, if you dont like the results youre getting in life from your emotional responses, its up to you to break the patterns.

Familiar triggers and emotions create patterns and habits because people tend to relate certain actions, people, places and experiences with strong feelings. This in turn sets up predictable behaviors because some things feel good and some feel bad. People generally go for the better or familiar feeling even if this doesnt net them the best results.

In brief it feels easier to do the same things, even if they dont bring the best results because our neurological network gets wired for certain responses. And, although every human is limitless, most function at a very limited level because it feels normal or right to them. Daily behavior, then, becomes what a person believes to be true about them; and, it will continue to be true for them. Patterns of thinking also set up an agreement with the Greater Universal Mind that this is what we expect to be true for us.

The Universe, Source, is very neutral and non-judgmental, it only responds in support of our thinking and our decisions. It will always send to us the perfect people, circumstances and materials to support our decisions and emotions. These are said to be triggers in our lives. When they appear we most likely respond. Can we shift our response? Most definitely we can always change our neurological response by consciously shifting how we observe any situation.

Depending on the habitual pattern, the thing that keeps happening, our job to break the habit is to replace one thing for another which will produce a more desirable outcome. In other words, if we can understand a behavior that produces a painful outcome, then we can use a reprogramming technique such as Sedona Method, TFT and EFT, Breath work with Journaling or EMDR to shift the energy around patterns of behavior. It requires effort and continual vigilance for a full 30 " 40 days. That helps the neural network to send a new message for new behaviors. Thats how long it takes to break a neurological response pattern, a habit. Your intention is everything.

It is good to remember that in breaking old ways of Being we are breaking neurological responses. New neural pathways are created as old chemical responses no longer felt. Universal support is also there for us. Because of the Laws of Connectivity and Attraction the Greater Sea of All Potential is right there to support our efforts.

To get new results and create new ways things happen in your life begin thinking new thoughts about yourself. Shift your perspective as your own life Observer. Shift the energy around the situation and keep doing the process until you start getting the results you hope for. In that way you claim more of who you really are. As always support is a key in shifting patterns and remembering the goodness you truly are in the process.

Holistic Therapy for Couples Creating Balance In Your Life And Relationship

0 komentar
By Stephen Daniels

Many couples who experience a bump in the road in their relationship turn to counseling for help. Some people do not realize the differences between holistic counseling and traditional counseling when they are trying to work out relationship issues.

Traditional counseling often places its focus on the issues the couple brings to the session to discuss, whether they are subjects of frequent arguments, one partners hurt feelings, or intimacy issues. While working on these surface issues is sometimes useful, this approach tends to be little more than a band-aid to cover only visible wounds while ignoring the imbalance between the partners that is the underlying cause of these surface problems.

A couples individual disagreements and communication problems could be symptoms of a much greater issue - one that will never be addressed by traditional counseling. In most cases, when two people are in need of counseling, both the individuals and the couple as a unit are out of balance and need a more holistic approach to help them heal themselves and their relationship.

Holistic Counseling is entirely focused on helping partners reclaim that balance and wellness for themselves and for their lives together. A balanced partnership is one founded upon feelings of love, trust, intimacy, and joy. As such, all holistic therapy will focus on enhancing these aspects of the bond.

The holistic approach is best for two people who feel like their relationship is out of balance, particularly if they believe that their disagreements are a symptom of a larger issue. Relationships lacking in joy, intimacy, or positive communication can benefit from this method. Through holistic therapy, partners can explore these issues and learn new ways of thinking about their bond with one another.

Holistic therapy may particularly appeal to people who find a traditional therapists approach off-putting. Some participants in typical therapy sessions feel like they are being involved in a moderated debate; others even think their partner and the therapist are ganging up on them.

Another big plus of holistic counseling is that it is far less likely than traditional counseling to result in medication being given to one or both parties. Antidepressants, anti-anxiety drugs, and sleeping pills are often prescribed by traditional counselors. Sometimes, these drugs serve only to increase relationship issues problems. They can cause sexual problems or even change an individuals personality to some degree. This can cause yet another rift in an already fragile partnership. While drugs are not inappropriate for every case, many modern practitioners use medication as a first line of defense rather than a final resort. There is no doubt that swallowing a pill is easier than changing a couples worldview or the way that they work with one another.

Holistic therapy is generally not a quick fix for couples problems. However, it will reach down to the roots of the bond to improve the relationship as a whole as well as both individuals. It is a method created for partners who desire true balance in their lives, both together and separately. - 30535

Love Break Up Getting Through A Distressing Situation

0 komentar
Are you in love?  Break up with your boyfriend can be the most devastating thing in your life if you were truly in love.  How can you get through this situation?
First of all, you need to determine whether the relationship is truly over.  There are a number of ways to get an ex boyfriend back.
You don’t want to chase him.  You want to give him some space, especially in the first days after a break up.  So, don’t pester him with calls or texts.  Instead, let him call you.
If he doesn’t contact you right away, don’t stress about it.  Instead, after about a week, call him yourself.  But, keep it casual.  Don’t go all weepy on him and ask him to get back together.  Also, keep it short.  Five or ten minutes should suffice.
If you are still in love after this amount of time, you need to consider making more fundamental changes.
For instance, do you need a makeover?  Would a new hairstyle or new clothes attract him back?  Do you need to lose a few pounds?
Also, consider whether there were aspects of your personality that drove him away.  Were you always nagging him?  Did you drop all of your own friends and hang around with him exclusively?  You may have been crowding him.
If you have identified areas where you can change, you need to do them.  It may take time, but if he is truly in love, break up won’t last.
But, you also have to be prepared to move on.  Fortunately, any changes you make to win your ex boyfriend back will also help you attract a new guy.  For instance, learning not to nag a man will help you keep any new boyfriend.  And, your new more glamorous self will be sure to attract lots of attention.
Use the time between boyfriends to find out what you really want in a man as well.  What was it that attracted you to your ex?  Did these qualities hold on over time or did they annoy you after a while?  Did you go for someone on the basis of looks only to find out that made for a very vain man?  Did you like his sarcastic sense of humor only to find out that he turned it on you?
You should also use this time between boyfriends to figure out what you want in yourself.  What can you improve – not for the sake of a guy – but to make the quality of your own life better?  This may mean getting back in touch with your girlfriends, taking up a class, or going to church again.
Remember, love break up do happen.  Sometimes you can get back together and sometimes you can’t.  The important thing is to be able to roll with the punches and move on to the newer, better you.

How You Can Save Marriage By Creating Intimacy

0 komentar
When your marriage hits rocky waters you must firmly believe that you can save marriage in order to save the marriage.  If you dont believe that as fact, then there is nothing you do that will make a blind bit of difference.  So right now, believe that it is possible for you to save the marriage.
A common missing ingredient for marriages in trouble is a lack of intimacy.  For a marriage to be happy there must be a level of intimacy that goes beyond the physical and wholeheartedly embraces the emotional.  Ask yourself this, “does my marriage suffer from a lack of intimacy?”
Are you open and transparent with your spouse?  Do you share and include or do you exclude and keep your emotions and emotional needs locked away and try and deal with things on your own?  If you exclude your spouse emotionally, then your marriage lacks intimacy and its time to inject some and get on the road to save marriage.
Make sure that youre making every attempt to share your problems and worries with your spouse.  Too often people find themselves worried and preoccupied with a situation.  Instead of sharing this situation with their spouse, they decide to try and deal with it on their own.  This is a big mistake because it excludes your spouse when you should be including them.
Remember, spouses can very easily sense when something is wrong and if you exclude them, they quickly begin to feel shut out and redundant and thats when hurt can quickly find its way into a marriage.
Another way to inject intimacy into your marriage so that you can save marriage is to make time for your marriage.  In this day and age when a thousand and one things can encroach on your time, not making time for your marriage is a surefire way for a marriage to hit trouble.  Its no fun discovering that when you were busy carving out a career or focusing your time on attending to the kids, that your marriage just shriveled up and died.
Make sure that if you want to save marriage that youre actively making time for your spouse and your marriage.  Once in a while take an impromptu afternoon off and have some fun with your spouse.  When your spouse realizes that you value them to the extent of changing your schedule to include them, you will begin to see an improved difference in your marriage.
Creating and fostering intimacy in your marriage so that you can save marriage will take time and is an ongoing process.  Dont ever make the mistake of allowing your marriage to be left set on auto-pilot.  A healthy and intimate marriage is one that is attended to regularly, only then will it thrive.
