| 0 komentar |
By Julie U. Stevenson

People that suffer from any type of anxiety on a weekly basis often struggle to know for sure whether they are suffering from a generalized anxiety disorder or a panic disorder. The physical and mental discomforts suffered with each of these conditions are rather comparable, but there are also some very distinct differences that set them apart.

Organic Characteristics of Anxiety

One of the most specific variances between a person who ails from panic attacks and one who has principle anxiety disorder, is that conditions of apprehension are most of the time only displayed during an genuine incident. In the case of an anxiety disorder victim, they encompass these emotions of discouragement and woe with them at all times.

Many physical symptoms of the standard anxiety disorder can manifest as extreme rigidness throughout the body, can not concentrate for very long to anything due to constant worry, and the ability to get to sleep.

Panic attacks are seen a little more aggressively on the physical side as difficulty breathing, feeling disoriented, violent shaking, rapid heartbeat, and many other related problems can be observed.

Effects on Daily Life

People who succumb to only a mild form of the principle anxiety disorder can frequently live a regular every day life with little changes. Due to an inability to stay concentrated, consistent fretting, and being bothersome to loved ones, personal relationships can get very strained.

People dealing with a severe case of standard anxiety disorder can find themselves totally cut off from society, not being capable to hold down a job, socialize with peoples, or even go out into the outside world.

Those who suffer from panic disorder live out their life in fear of the next attack. They may be afraid to go into certain locations or situations for fear they will not be able to escape or will bad in the case an attack occurs. This creates even more anxiety and in many cases the fear of having an attack can actually cause an attack.

This fear leads many sufferers to continually try to judge and examine every physical symptoms that comes over them, trying to catch the attack before it truly sets in.

A big concern with many suffering from the standard anxiety disorder is that with all of their worrying and being distraught, they can produc an all out attack. It is usually in cases where there may be a reason to have some concern and with the extra stressing they find themselves in a situation they can no longer manage.

If they are scared they could find themselves in a similar circumstance, there could be future attacks of panic. This is why in the case of acute cases of anxiety disorder individual often feel symptoms much like panic disorder although not often lasting as long or as strong. - 30535

By Colleen Rikke

If you are unfamiliar with the term, a lucid dream is one in which you are aware that you are dreaming. Lucid, of course denotes consciousness. The extent to which you are lucid within your dream depends on how stable the dream is, how much of the dream you can recall upon waking and how much control you have over the course of the dream.

Having control over the dream is the most important part of a Lucid Dream. Its an amazing thing to be in a dream yet to know that it is in fact a dream. You are in the drivers seat of your dream and you can experience anything you have ever wanted to.

Just imagine that for an instant. It looks feels and sounds exactly the same as normal reality, except that you know that it isnt. You know that you are perfectly safe; you cannot die or get injured in a Lucid Dream. There are no normal rules and regulations about what you get up to! It is truly your own Individual Virtual Reality, with a depth of realism far beyond the most sophisticated computer imitation.

Lucid dreaming is an incredible skill that more and more people are mastering. Having a Lucid Dream is something almost everyone experiences very occasionally, but just imagine how exhilarating it would be if you could Lucid Dream whenever you want to!

Lucid Dreaming gives you the opportunity to have any experience that you can think of. You can meet anyone you ever wanted to, visit other planets, have unbridled erotic experiences, speak with the loved ones you have lost; anything you can imagine can happen.

Having regular Lucid Dreaming experiences is something which until recently could take an extremely long time to achieve. People would spend as long as a year in training to have their first Lucid Dream - and it remained out of reach for some people no matter how long they tried.

So are there any simple ways of experiencing a Lucid Dream?

Many people feel that particular foods can encourage or induce a lucid dream. You should try these immediately before going to sleep. Orange Juice, Milk and Cheese and also Mustard have been reported as being good things to consume for the best results.

Others recommend popcorn, pickles, fish and ice cream. While these people say that these foods prepare your mind for Lucid Dreaming, it should be noted that many of them are also high in salt and fat, which wont necessarily help you to get a good nights rest.

Can Technology Assist You?

As technology improves, so does the chance to get assistance with your Lucidity. There are now modern devices that you can use to stimulate and induce lucid dreams. There are innovative devices like masks and eyeshades that notice faster eye movement and blink a red diode when you begin to doze. This red beam is integrated into the dream, and reminds the person who is asleep that they are dreaming. The person can then start to control the dream once they realize that it actually is a dream!

Another of the new developments is an audio technology known as binaural beats. Different frequencies are played in each ear of the listener; this has been found to be helpful in achieving Lucid Dreams.

What this process does is to synchronize the two hemispheres of the brain. And almost instantly, just by listening to these special frequencies, puts the brainwaves into a state known as REM (Rapid Eye Movement) sleep which is the state needed to achieve a lucid dream.

For anyone wondering what it is like to experience a Lucid Dream, then this is definitely the easiest and most reliable way of getting started! - 30535
